Debra Kay Ochoa, 50, passed away Monday in San Antonio after a long battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 3, 1957, in Gossell, Kan. She is survived by her husband, Sgt. Maj. Pedro Ochoa Jr, U.S. Army, retired; her children, Benjamin Chano Ochoa of Tallahasee, Fla., and Bryan John Ochoa and his wife Jennifer of San Antonio; her parents, John and Carol Dinkel; sister, Marsha Jo Jones of Huntsville; her brother, Rodney Eugene Dinkel and his wife Sharon of Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard Epperson, 61, of McCalla, Alabama, enjoyed his profession as an engineer with U.S. Steel. He loved family, friends, and animals.

He is survived by his wife, Krystal Epperson; step-children, Landon, and Brad; sister, Roseanne Bebee; five nieces, Shelly Payne, Sherry Allender, Rochelle Bebee, Marta Conway, and Tania Tate; and good friends, Wes Goodwin, and Stewart Block. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Epperson; his mother, Theresa Epperson; and his brother, Jim Epperson.

He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Bolin (Thomas) and Samantha Giles; granddaughter, Annalise Pigg; and sisters, Karen Shawer (Steve) and Barbara Giles.

He is preceded by his wife, Donna Karen Giles, who passed on August, 18, 2018; son, Michael Benjamin Giles, and parents, William and Carolyn Giles.

A receiving of friends will be held on Sunday, December 17th, from 3-4p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home, with a memorial service taking place immediately after. Brother Ed King will be officiating.

Annie Eastman, age 66, of Diamondhead, MS passed away on April 14, 2024 with her family surrounding her at her residence. She was born July 2, 1957, in Huntsville, Alabama to John T. and Mary (Clemons) Glenn. Annie was preceded in death by her parents and son Nicholas David Eastman. Annie was a six-year veteran of the United States Navy.



In her spare time, she enjoyed the outdoors tending to her gardening, using her keen eye for decorating, and most proudly being a fun and loving grandmother to her grandchildren.
