It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Edward “Eddie” Lewis Knight, Jr., aged 68, on January 17, 2025, at his home in Arab, Alabama. Eddie was born on September 24, 1956, in La Grange, GA. and was a beloved husband, Father and grandfather.
Eddie is survived by his mother, Sara Knight, his wife, Susan Knight, sons Robert Knight (Sheena), Davy Knight (Heather), Edward Knight III (Cassie). In the early morning hours of May 31, 2024, Dan Kratohvil stepped into the presence of his Savior Jesus Christ. He had finished reading the New Testament through. We believe he heard the words we all want to hear: “Well done!” Even if we had the opportunity to say Goodbye, we would have said, as he did, “See you later!” He knew he was loved and he showed his love for us every day. September 8, 2015 Dana Charles Lipscomb, 58, passed away September 8, 2015 due to complications from lung cancer. He was a longtime resident of Huntsville where he graduated from Butler High School in 1975 and was employed at The Huntsville Times. He loved his neighbors and their pets. As his illness progressed, he relocated to Georgia where he received loving care from his mother and sister until his death. Dana is survived by his mother, Bertie Lou Cryer Lipscomb and sister, Dr. Desiree "Sissy" Lipscomb of Georgia; and father, Charles Robert "Bob" Lipscomb of Huntsville.
