David Hunter Robbins of Birmingham, AL passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the age of 60. David was born to Thomas Scott Robbins Jr. and Mona Crumpton Robbins on October 27, 1956 in Opelika, AL. He grew up as the youngest of two in Huntsville, AL and attended Butler High School. After high school, he continued his education at Auburn University earning a BS in Building Science. He went on to work in the construction field transforming sky lines both domestically and internationally . David was most proud of his contributions in the building of 17 US Embassies while working for Harbert International. David was a beloved son, brother, grandfather, and uncle. David is survived by his Mother and Stepfather, Mona and Merph Ellis, daughter Nicole Crum and her husband Sean Crum, his son, Jordan Robbins, Step sister Leigh Ellis Rheney and husband John Rheney of Athens GA, grandchildren Camden and Anna Kate Naish. David was preceded in death by his Father , Thomas Scott Robbins Jr, and his brother , Thomas Scott (Tim) Robbins III. A visitation will be available to the public at Mountaintop Community Church, Vestavia Hills on Thursday Aug 3rd at 12:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.
