
David Turner
1957-06-17 2013-06-30David Lee Turner, 56, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. David was a native Alabamian, being the seventh generation of the Rozell family who helped settle America in 1640. He was born to Billie Jo Rozell and H. Lee Turner.
He loved his grandmother, Nannie, and will soon lie near her. David was a Christian and treated everyone as he wanted to be treated. "Fly in the wind, David. I love you!" - Bud
He was preceded in death by his father, and his aunt, Jo Rozell.
Survivors include his wife, Shelia Turner; son, Josh Turner; daughter, Whitney Turner; mother, Billie Rozell; grandson, Alexander Turner; stepsons, Christopher Bolden and James Bolden; sisters, Lajuana Nelson and Tanya Hall; brother, Chris Hall; uncle, Bud Rozell; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with the service immediately following in the chapel. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. (www.laughlinservice.com)
