April 15, 1957 - Oct. 20, 2014, Phillip Hill, 57, of Huntsville, went to join his Lord and Savior on Monday after a short battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded by his brother and sister, along with his sister-in-law and hospice nurse, Dayle, and special cat, Buddy. Survivors include mother, Hester Hill; brother, Tommy Hill and wife, Marynell; sister, Susan Hill; nephew, Adam Hill and wife, Janell, of Athens; and nieces, Jamie Hill of Greensboro NC and Stephanie Nix of Florence. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home followed by a private burial.
